**Congratulations to the Class of 2018!

*“Look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see, and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious” -Stephen Hawkings. Well, this could certainly sum up our two years together in math at OLG, 8th grade. It is your wonder of the world and engaged curiosity that has driven our conversations. We learned that math is everywhere if we just take the time to notice and wonder. (In and Out Burgers, Dunkin Donut coffee, Penny Savings stacked in pyramids) While we can recite the forms of an equation from y = mx + b (slope-intercept) to Ax + By = C (standard), the most important thing we learned about ourselves is to not be afraid of not knowing. Math is a series of relationships waiting for discovery. And while we may not always have the answer, always remember to be brave 8th grade… not perfect. Good luck!*

Yes! You will, indeed!
